Hey guys. I am trying to buy new black longest, and I need to know a few things. I will post a picture of my rims below. They are dodge rims and they came on the car. But I don't think they are the stock rims. The socket for the lugnut is a 22mm, I am positive on that. Anyways, I know the stock lug pattern is 5x115mm or 5x4.53'', but does anyone know the pattern for these rims? Also, is there anything else I need to know before I buy new lugnuts? Some kind of thread size? Thanks!

You also need the 60 degree conical seat. Gorilla makes several options in black chrome that will work on your car.

That's the stock AWD 19 inch wheel. I can tell yours is AWD because your caliper is in the wrong place!

Go with Gorilla Lugnuts they make a few acorn bulge lugs that work. Even have a nice "system" that's all locks. I use them on my summer wheels.

The new ones came in and they are considerably smaller... They take a 3/4'' socket. They snug on with a breaker bar but i can get them a lot tighter than the stock lug nuts. Takes a lot more to take them off. Stock lugs were a 22mm socket. Are they a good fit?

What did you end up buying? You need acorn bulge like we said. I wouldn't get ones that clearly say they don't fit oem wheels since you have oem wheels.

Gorilla and other make ones that fit the stock ones are hot garbage and are bound to eventually fail and need to be chiseled off at some point.

I don't understand that. What are you trying to say? The Gorilla ones are great...but I can't tell if you are saying that they're not..:dunno:

I missed a comma in there, sorry. The Gorilla ones are good, the stock ones are hot garbage!

In any event this guy needs to buy the acorn bulge style to fit his stock 19 inch OEM wheels.

LOL! Ok, gotcha...I figured I was missing something in there. :)

Agreed, the OP needs the Gorilla lugs and throw those stock ones in the nearest recycling can.

I bought the ones in the first link NOT the ones that say they dont fit oem wheels. The first link says they fit any charger wheel. They are acorn bulge but they are shaped a little differently. They are smaller and they have a rounded head the top.

Those will work just fine.

You should have got the Gorilla "System" though where each nut is a lock nut.

But anyway they will work.

All you need to do now is get over to www.billettechnology.com and order some black center caps to go with them.

Hey guys I know the gorilla lugs have been discussed before but I can't find the thread. Which black chrome gorilla lugs do I need for a 2015 RT? Also Flex, I went to the Billet Technology site but can't find the black center caps. Got a link?
Thanks.

Flex,
I remember reading your post about new lug nuts for your 392. I just got my 392 last week and I would also like to replace the OEM ones. I can't seem to find your post and I can't seem to find a size listing anywhere, what size lug nuts are needed to replace the OEM ones on our 392's?

Thanks for any help

The stock lug nuts are 7/8" or 22mm.

The Gorilla ones I got are slightly smaller. The part number is 71643NBC

There is also a set that will work that is closer to the stock size but I don't know what the part number is.

Check out Speedlogix; they sell both sets.

I figured I would contribute to this thread as I recently went through some similar trials and found this old post to be quite useful from another forum, all credit goes to Junior
To consolidate a bunch of good info from a bunch of different threads, here's what you need to know about buying replacement lugnuts for your LX. I mainly focus on the Gorilla brand, because they offer more options that work, and they're readily available.

The first post has all the specs you need to know, with part numbers for the various options, and the second post will address all the previous concerns that have been raised, one at a time.

Here are the important specs:

Lug Nut Seat Style: Conical seat
Thread Size: 14mm x 1.50 RH
Conical Seat Taper: 60 degree
Conical Seat Type: Bulge

Here are some examples of Gorilla lugnuts that will work on LX's:

- These are all the same length (1.40"):
Gorilla 91147 (Chrome, 13/16 hex)
Gorilla 41147 (Chrome, 3/4 hex)
Gorilla 91147SS (Stainless Steel, 13/16 hex)
Gorilla 91147BC (Black Chrome, 13/16 hex)
Gorilla 91147HT (Chrome, heat-treated, 13/16 hex)
Gorilla 91148 (Same as the 91147, but priced individually)
Gorilla 61147 (Lifetime Finish, 13/16 hex)

- These are longer (1.90"):
Gorilla 91147XL (Extra long, Chrome, 13/16 hex).

- Open-ended (1.0"):
Gorilla 90048 (Open-ended, 13/16 hex, priced individually)

Here's the best price we've ever found for the Gorilla 91147 (91148): http://www.brandsport.com/grla-91148.html (91? each when you buy 20)

Here's the Gorilla Numbering Convention:

And the PDF catalog which has a whole lot of useful info: http://daliracing.com/v666-5/download/pdf_article/Gorilla_lock_nuts.pdf

There you go. Those are slightly bigger and a slightly different design than the ones I got and they should fill up the holes better.
