It would depend on what you want from your car long term and what your plans are for the future, shows or just a DD, ride comfort, road conditions, track time etc.

Also depends on how much you want to spend, your knowledge, and access to tools will also be a factor. There are Spring kits, Coilover kits, Airbagging, or even hydraulic systems.

im planning on having my car for a while, at least until im done with college and perhaps a few years beyond. from what ive read on the link jonathan posted, it seems as though it would be best to install springs and also shocks. is that the case?

Well, once again it would depend on your skill level and access to tools.

I would say go with a coilover kit, that way you have the ability to adjust them, if there comes a time or need. That's what I'd do if I had limited tool access and about twice the money to spend. Keep in mind your stock shocks will be out of their "comfort" zone with just a spring install. Some say their stock shocks don't last that long with lowering springs, while others say they have no problems.

I have no experience or tools haha, however I am fortunate in that my dad owns a garage. I really appreciate the advice man, you've been of great help:bowdown:
