Whenever I turn the car on, theres a loud tick inside the dash that lasts for about 10-15 seconds. It doesn't affect the ride at all just really annoying. Anyone had this problem before or heard about it happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like it's the relays cycling. How often does it tick?

It's either that or the factory installed time-bomb...:grin:

Seriously, it might be an extra loud relay or one that isn't mounted properly.

this happens to me too, usually when the car is cold as hell!

it just started happening to me when i upgraded my stock radio to a stock radio with an aux port...again not sure the cause but is rather annoying

It could be the air/blend doors in the HVAC system setting themselves. Next time try turning the HVAC system to completely off before startring the car and see if it doesn't happen. Then when you turn the system on, they should cycle, possibly making the noise as they set themselves.

Also, by turning the system completely off and then on again, the doors re-calibrate themselves often eliminating the noise in future start ups.
