I'm looking to buy a newer charger. I have a 08 RT R/T and I've been looking at a 13 and a 14 RT R/T. I spotted a 13 with less than 9grand on the odometer for 24800 and a new 14 with STP for 29280. Which do you guys think would be a better deal? New or used, considering their value and options? Thanks in advance for the advice.

I had always bought used until I got my Charger, never had issues with any of the used cars I've owned but getting something new for the first time felt awesome. When you get in you know nobody has done a bunch of burnouts or other stuff in it, it's a performance car and most people drive it accordingly. If you think you might keep this car 5+ years or forever, I say buy new, if you think you just want it for a few years until the next shiny thing catches your attention then buy used and don't worry about depreciation. You can't go wrong either, they are great cars and 9k miles is not that much either. Good luck and post pics when you get the one you want!

The only thing that has me debating is the STP on the new model. I don't know if the used one has it or not. Don't think the dealer of the used one knows.

I would buy the new one as $4000 savings isn't much plus it's one year newer meaning longer warranty.
If you can get the used model down to $21-22K then it's worth considering.

Well the decision may have been made for me. The new one might be sold.

Plenty of 2014's still in dealerships. Make sure you get what you want and have no regrets later! If you find something you really like but its not driving distance away you can always get the dealership to do a trade, that's how I got my car which was 300 miles away.

Pulled the trigger on the 13. The price was right and payments were where I needed them to be. Added a 5yr extended warranty.

Now I have to get my exhaust sound back. I had JBA on my 08. Maybe I'll try something different this time. Well, off to the exhaust clips!
