Today at 3pm EST on January 3rd, 2011, my Dodge Charger saved my life. With a curb weight of nearly 3 tons, It's hard to stop fast on the interstate. IF I had been in anything less than that car, I would not have walked away...

Yep, these cars are tanks! I got rear-ended on the interstate by a late 80s Caddy a couple years ago. His car was totalled and I drove away with relatively minor damage.

BTW, these cars have a curb weight of just over 2 tons (not 3).

looks like your push bumper took some hit, that probably had a big reason in saving most of the front end of your car.

Yeah they don't weigh anywhere close to 6,000 lbs (3 tons) .... unless there were a bunch of fat asses in the car ...... lol
Mine weighs 4,530 lbs with my fat arse in the car, so ..... :lol:
