Just got my KWV2s. They look very well made. Been reading through old posts. Just want to hear if there are any new tricks, tips, methods, or things to be careful of that I should make my installer aware of. He will also be dropping in the Hotchkis sways at the same time.

Thanks for any info!

from what my tuner said, install is very easy. the only thing that was a bit of a hassle was the hotchkis sways because of dropping the end. my guy charged me $400 or so.

Hey thanks.
So how does she feel now with new suspenders? I cant wait to give her a good flogging when I get mine on!!!

Been looking thru the documention the came with them...between the german translation and the general lack of information, I'd say the "manual" sux. Lets hope the product is much better than the literature!
If you're having them done by a professional, you should be ok. I ran into some problems installing my own V1's. The back end was a bit of a pain, and the front ball joints gave me a problem separating them to drop the suspension enough to get the shock out. Otherwise its not a difficult install.

The "installer" that I'm planning to use, I'm not sure he's got a ton of experience with this sort of thing. But he comes highly recommended. Anyhow, the separate black ring and purple collar on the rear set, I assume that's the ride height adjustment. The front is made with a setscrew to keep from turning after adjustment. But how do you keep the rears from turning after adjustment? I'm missing something here.

Plus...Why in the hell doesnt this product come with a step-by-step installation procedure. There are just a few guidelines/settings and some warnings given in the ****ty manual. Is there supposed to be more documentation with this that I did not receive? How in the hell is my installer supposed to know what to do? I think this is pathetic. Hell even the Hotchkis sways came with a step-by step removal and installation procedure, and they're relatively simple.
What the hell?
There is nothing available on KW's website either.
