And you are right, they DID come out great!!!! The only thing that immediately stood out to me (and yes, this can only come from a perfectionist), was that the outline of the lights are not exactly flush with the black area of the trunk decal.

Perhaps a thin strip of black adhesive car stripe, or other creative solution would even it out, and then it would have an even outline all together.

Just a thought... I know you love it as it is. So do I.

So how much did you pay to have them painted and smoked?
What materials did you use? These look great!
Those look awesome. Are those the ones from 402 motoring?
No, a friend on the forum [edited by admin] did these for me!!!
I need to get me a set of those. I checked 402's website and they dont list Detonator Yellow. I promise myself I was gonna hold off on modding for awhile. Thanks for ruining it for me.
Sexyyyyyy, yellow and black mix really great... Congrats...

And i do agree with Danni.R about the outline... its the little things that matter... I think RiderGrafix does the one that sits flush with upper and lower edges... I saw them on Freebird's SRT...

Could you kindly snap us a shot of the whole rear end... I'm diggin how she looks...

It's not possible. I've tried. I just paid $1100+ for Zoomers that I didn't really have, and I'm still looking for the next mod...lol.

My last vehicle was a Chevy Avlanche and I went down this same road. I thought I could use a little restraint with this one. Guess not. If they have them in SuperBee yellow I will get them. That has already been decided.

im the same way. that would bug the hell out of me. a thin stripe would look a little off after you get close and see it. can you not get a bit bigger trunk decal?

I know what your talking about. But I went with the line on the lens. If you look at that line you will understand why you would not go beyond that point!!
The reason the "line" your reffering to doesnt line up with the trunk lid decal is because thats the natural line of the tailights ( the part most people paint), not like the guy who did the job did a bad line up, or taped them off incorrectly

yes.. bigger trunk decal is probably the better route to go (if it is available, and feasable). I know... I second your comment...

a perfectionist would notice the thin stripe above the decal, and that would bug the hell out of him/her just the same, or even more. LOL.
Those look great! A couple things. Rider does make an extended reach trunk blackout. Its about $70. It is not easy to install, but doable yourself if you have done some decals before. He followed the lines I have seen on every painted tail. Looks great. His paint color matched up very well. Better than mine. For those wanting to do it yourself, you should be able to for less than $40 in supplies. Take your time. Wet sand, be very careful taping.
