I just bought me a beautiful black R/Tand I'm excited as hell! Just did a google search and cam up with your board, and I'd like to see what other people think about the car! Erm, and greetings...and stuff!

Welcome to the group/forum. We seem to have a mix of folk who already have their '06 Chargers and those who are either planning to get them or just wishing to get one. I am in the planning stage. Putting one last attempt to get one of the Daytona's but will most likely be ordering one of the R/T's with the R&T Performance Pkg. Glad you are aboard.

Another newbie here.
I am tossing coins to select either a 300C or the new Charger R/T. The later is about 3 grand cheaper (less expensive)
Decisions, decisions.

Would like to get the R/T Daytona but I hate the gimicky decal work. Kinda reminds me of the late 60's early 70's quality improvements. Also not fond of the limited colors.

Maybe the regular R/T with a handling package.

I need some more coins.

I bought an Inferno Red R/T HEMI with no decals. Dealer is putting some special made decals on for me they had designed prior to my purchasing the car. Am going to look at them before I actually let them put them on the car. I kinda like the plain-sleeper look.

HIGH, may I ask who you got yours from, I am in the planning stage and have a deal set with one dealer, and doing some quick queries with others to see if they will meet or beat it (also seeing if I can get of the Daytonas). Would like to know how you felt the buying process was with your dealer.

I got mine from Commerce Chrysler in Commerce, GA...close to where I recently moved. I bought the only one they had at that dealership. They had a black R/T at their Savannah GA lot but have since sold it. I had been getting my truck serviced there and kinda 'knew' everyone. (To talk to anyway). I got the car for a little under MSRP but will have to look at the papers I put away to verify how much. Mine is also stock so only listed for a base + 225 for the paint plus destination. Dealer threw in the tinting and soon to get stripes for free. Heck, ya get anything for free from anyone and its a blessing..lol. I have pictures posted at: www.msnusers.com/HIGHHEMI .
Do they have any in the Springs or Denver/Thornton?

I see... saw Salida, CO in your info and thought you were still in this area. Yes we have 'em here in Denver. Just took a Sunday drive in a big circle around town to check out whats on the lots (without sales hassles). Wanted to check out a Steel Silver in person, but wouldn't you know it, out of the 4 dealerships we stopped at, none had that color out to be seen. Did get to see the Midnight Blue, Magnesium, Bright Silver, and Inferno Red. I already have a red car and not in the market for another, and I am just not thrilled with the Bright Silver. The Midnight Blue is one pretty color, but very dark almost black. The Magnesium kinda grew on me the more I looked at it. A sort of greyish look to it in cloudy weather, but when the sun hits it, the underlying green pearl comes out in a very nice way. I am disappointed that I didn't see the Steel Silver, wanted to see if it was a solid color, or if it was truely a metallic with tiny sparkle flecks to make it shimmer in the light. I've seen the pics here, but still would like to see it in person.

Yep, I was in Salida but moved here in February. Hope to be moved back around fall. Seems like all the colors I have seen are holding deep flake pearl. I understand the black has 8 or so pearls in it...makes it look really nice from different angles. I am sure the steel will look just as awesome.

Savannah Dodge has two chargers, a Silver R/T and a Black SE(?). Looked sweet. After seeing the Charger in person, I am now set at getting one. Only a year to go.
