Just got my brand new Cool Vanilla 5.7 Charger, fellas. I live behind a Chevy dealership, and I've already had 2 GM salesmen, 3 mechanics, and 4 other people ask to look around, under, and inside it within 20 minutes of it being home!! One of them even said "I'm a Dodge-boy now, i tellya!"

Congrats,on an excellent choice!!! That's because the gm boys have nothing worth while looking at over there,except the ZO6 vette coming out. Forget the gto

i agree, i am a big nascar guy and have always followed chevy...they have some incredible drivers...but, that monte has never grown on me and they just don't seem to change it at all...it is time for a revamp or a new car.

have you seen that ford is changing thier nascar vehicle to the Ford Fusion....no v8 either...if you build a great v8, most won't care about the gas consumption. i am not rich but i could careless how much gas i use....i look GREAT burning it up...lol

Yeah, that's what I found out. I liked the exterior look and the agressive front end, but they dropped the ball on the interior materials. It had a fancy EVIC, but the stereo wasn't great and everything was 'parts bin'.

Plus they were charging waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much. For the price of that truck, I could've got a fully loaded SRT-8! Hence the switch to Dodge

Hey ya'll this is a perfect topic for my first post.! I currently have an 03 Z06 that I am SERIOUSLY considering selling and getting an SRT8!

The Z is a scary fast car and has done me well but it is not a daily driver... and h3ll, the SRT8 has 20 more hp!

My only reservation is I hope I dont have to go through the same Brampton plant mess my Brother did with his 300C last year.

By some comments I have read, I am not sure it has gotten much better.

Comments? ...can I get an SRT8 in Electron Blue??? ;-)

Sure... he ordered from Lake Norman Dodge in Charlotte NC in April 2004, with an original deilivery date of 5/28. After 14 weeks of numerous delay excuses he ended up purchasing one of the lot ordered 8 weeks after his. Which the dealer completely blamed on the plant.

Factual ur not that was his experiance. I just don;t want to go though the same thing
