It's official! I just ordered an Inferno Red Charger a couple of hours ago. Would love to have a Hemi, but more than I could afford. Went with the base SE--Didn't really like the SXT wheels and couldn't justify spending 3 grand more for the SXT options. The only things I plan on adding are the fogs, a chrome grill and aftermarket 18" wheels. I would love the 20" SRT8 wheels, but I'm sure they'll be pretty pricey when they become available... Got a great deal--1 % under invoice and car should be here in about 10 weeks. The wait begins!!

Awesome! Great dealing getting the 1% under invoice, I'm sure the dealer made their cut, but you're going to have one hell of a car for what you paid. Try not to think about it too much in the next 10 weeks, the wait will drive you nuts. Going just a month has been torture, especially these last 12 hours or so...

Anyway, congrats.

Congratulations Joe and welcome to the club of grown men (and ladies if you're out there) paying big bucks to sit around day after day and dream about what its going to be like when that day finally arrives. :)

I assume you have your VON. If your really into having a thrill ride of waiting for your car, the next thing is to donate over at the Brampton site and be ready to drop a VIN# on them when you get it. You can always wait until you get a VIN before doing this, but why, it so much more fun to get the anxiety levels up on the high burner!! The folks there will give you (almost) daily updates as to any progress (if any) on your order is it is assembled in the factory.

Well, it's begun! I've alreday started ordering parts for when my SE arrives. I was able to win a set of SXT wheels/tires on ebay for $275, yesterday. The great thing is the seller lives in my city so I will pick them up myself and avoid the shipping cost. I know I said I wasn't too fond of the SXT wheels, but for $275 I couldn't pass up 4 brand new wheels and tires... I also ordered a fog light kit from http://www.leeparts.com/charger.html. Grand total was $128.10. So, for $403.10 I am halfway to SXT status! All I need now is the chrome grill.

This is gonna be fun...
