Was adding my car in autozone and they give the percentage of what engines were made for the cars. I assume the 6 and 8's are different groups since they add up to 100% for those groups.

* Available engines
o 6 Cylinders G 3.5L MFI SOHC HO (found in 50% of 2008 Dodge Charger)
o 6 Cylinders R 2.7L SFI DOHC (found in 50% of 2008 Dodge Charger)
o 8 Cylinders H 5.7L Hemi OHV (found in 86% of 2008 Dodge Charger)
o 8 Cylinders W 6.1L Hemi (found in 14% of 2008 Dodge Charger)

Kind of odd numbers. I wouldn't think the actual number of 6.1s is much over 5% of the total population. Probably less.

Anyone know the ratio of SRTs to "lesser" cars? Probably posted here somewhere.

READ the first post!

:slap:

:D
It just seems like a strange comparison either way. I hate to think the split is really 50-50 for the V6's... And it would seem more useful to actually everything as a whole, though I imagine the V8's probably only account for 1/4 to 1/3 of all the Chargers... if I had to guess.

Of course i'm just talking out of my tail-pipe anyways :beerchug:

Yeah, I agree those are odd numbers. As they say, 84.5% of statistics are made up! :laugh:

Even after reading the first post (and understanding what you meant), It still ends up totalling "200% of all 2008 Dodge Chargers." Maybe a re-word is in order?

Ex: So many percent of V-6 2008 Chargers and so many percent of 2008 Hemi Chargers.
