Hello fellow chargers,

Just wanted to post a pic of my first mod: a chrome Mopar T-Handle shifter on my 2009 Charger SE.

The install was easy. Just use a flathead screwdriver to separate the chrome ring from the original knob, and then pull the original knob up and out. Then, you just slide the T-Handle on, and tighten the screw on the back of the shaft (with a very small Allen's wrench) until it is flush. Wipe off the fingerprints and you're ready to go!

I'm loving it. It feels great on the hand with the finger-grooves and slightly angled position.

I have attached a pic from my phone.

Happy Charging!

Thank you! You are definitely right, there will definitely be more to come. lol
By the way, where did you get the matched spoiler?
That's going to be my next splurge I think, when it warms up here in RI.

Its done! I already had a black ball on there so it took me 5 minutes. I love the fact that it doesn't spin! I had another t handle before the black ball and it would spin requiring re-tightening of the screws. Love this one! We're twins ;)

yeah my plate did come up in some areas, but i`m going to be gently take it off and put some 3m redtape adhesive brand on it instead of the cheap crap they put on it. i was little upset that BT would use a cheaper tape. will see how it works out.

Ya BT - what the heck? Everything else has been pretty cool but that shifter plate doesn't have a rats ass chance of staying on. I considered getting

I've considered using something like these. Drill the plate and run them into the underlying plastic.

I actually had the same problem when I got my shifter plate and contacted BT about it. The trick is to take it off and give it a slight bend like a baseball cap then put new tape on it. I did that and haven't had an issue sense then...Hope that helps :beerchug:

i`m afraid of pulling it back off as it is very thin piece. i got some new tape and i`ll might try doing it today.
I was the same way, but seeing the corner kept poking up i just used a small plastic spatula and worked it under there and it came right up after some moving it...:beerchug:
