Broken Axile

I recently was in a car accident and the axile was broken. I am concerned that the car will not ride the same? Any advice.

Someone must have got a part# mixed up, they aren't the same.

Humm, depends on how the car was hit. If they get all the damaged fixed and the suspention parts aligned correctly it shoudl be fine.

As to the Spare and Police wheel, they are very differnt.

Think of the Police Steelie as a Steel version of the RT alumium wheel, 18x7 wheel.

Call MakeItMopar for pricing. They don't keep their online database updated. Even when you put the correct part#'s in the wrong name and price comes up sometimes. How do I know? When I was searching for those from them last year the part numbers were not coming up, when I ordered they were in there, then about a month later they were missing again. I recognize that list, looks like the one from my parts thread.

Or you can check moparsupercenter.

No, the police wheels are not the same as your spare tire.

As far as I know all States require manufacturers of Police packages, including Crown Vics, to have 18" wheels.
