Let's see...

I'd need a supercharger with pulley upgrade. A new performance chip to manage it all. Headers, high-flow cat, larger x-pipe, and eliminators. Top it off with some drag radials and a dyno tune and I think I'm set

Let's see...

  1. Headers. (Daytona exhaust would be fine for now)
  2. Wheel & Tire upgrade, something like 255/265 up front and 275/285 on the rears. Wouldn't go any taller than a 20" wheel though to maintain tire geometry.
  3. I like the idea of a performance chip.
  4. Would like some subtle pinstriping done to give the car a unique touch.
  5. If anything was left over, probably a street/strip cam and a dyno tune.
As far as interior and additional toys go, I think the options I have on order will do me just fine.

14" chrome plated wheels (13" if I can find any)
pale green satin finish paintjob with a high gloss pink pearlcoat roof
brown pinstripes and scrollwork
mud flaps
5% tint on the rear windows
chrome bug deflector
deer whistles
a tow hitch
a 25" wing for downforce
a giant sticker of Calvin peeing on a Mustang
a picture of my car airbrushed on the trunk with lightning in the background

The remaining $9750 I would give to the genius who designed the '06 Charger.

If I had 10 grand to dump into my srt all at once.. I would pull the engine and do a full rebuild. swapping the pushrods, pistons and connecting rods all for stronger replacments. Lower compression just a tad to support 10-12#'s boost. Do a full port & polish on the heads, upgrade the valve springs, maybe go to larger valves depending on the flow numbers and what is possible on the heads. Then send out my intakes for some flow work and have them port matched to the heads. Cam would be custom to match the engine.

So I figure all that work for a built blueprinted engine would run about 7K, then I would take the other 3K and use it to get a new TQ Converter, wideband, SS headers with enlarged primarys and 3" mid pipes. add some High flow race cats and be good to go.. Then I would just need another 7K to get the S/C setup and tuned to the new engine..;)

But can we spell viper killer..;) Would love to see a 650+ HP 2006 charger on the streets

I was a bit joking in the way I wrote it, but my plans are in the end to have beefed up the engine and throw a s/cer with a nitrous shot to cool intake charge.

First mods to my srt will be Full headers with 3" mid pipes and race cats.
Then I will have a CAI thrown on, maybe a UD pulley depending on what people say about the effects on power, ac, etc. Once those are done I will be working to the more potent mods. I was thinking of dropping in some nos injector nozzels with a NX kit and CF bottle, the higher compression would work well with a 75-100 shot of nitrous.

That should hold me over a while so I can get the parts for building up the engine as well as have more options for S/Cer kits. Plus have more real world info on effects and better tuning options

Ok, now for the Hemi (5.7L) internals are pretty stout so ill choose to leave them alone.

1) Headers
2)Full Cat-back or catless exhaust system
3)Port polish heads and mainfold
4)CAI
5)Performance chip
6)Cams & cam gears
7)Tranny mods to work with the rest of the motor mods
8)Aluminum driveshaft
9)Gearing

10) and if money allows, a supercharger

For the 6.1, no need to mess with that beast. Strong as is. :)

Ok, already posted the exterior mods, here's my ideas for the interior:

Faux aligator skin seats
Leopard skin carpeting
A chain steering wheel
High-gloss pink pearlcoat paint for the dashboard to match the roof paint
Chrome skull shift knob with light-up red eyes
Basket-weave straw floor mats
25 point racing harness seatbelts
A gold and chrome 8" x 18" plaque on the passenger side dash saying: "Chargers are charming"

Hopefully with these awesome upgrades, I can make the new Charger totally rock.
