Hey, I am getting a charger in october 05, I just have an issue...The color red on the charger they show on the commercials, is not the same as the red on the lot, and it isn't even an option on the web site...is that misleading to show a certain color on the tv and not make it available when the car finally comes out? The neon and the durango and the ram truck have the option of "flame red" but the charger does not...i wonder how hard it would be to get the charger in the flame red?

I beleive there are two different reds. "Inferno" red costs a a few hundred more, but I beleive it should be an option.

As of now you can't get the "bright red" and I agree, it SUCKS. The Charger, and the Magnum would look great in a bright red. I have been buying Chrysler vehicles for many years, and stupid stuff like this does not surprise me one bit. When people give me s**t about driving a Dodge, most of the time I agree with them, unfortunally I like their product even though in many cases they are way behind the times.

Hey, got a response from Daimler, this is what she said...

"We are pleased to read of your interest in the much anticipated 2006
Dodge Charger. Unfortunately, the only red color for the Charger is
Inferno Red. The lighting and backdrop in the commercial must have made
the Inferno Red appear brighter."


So basically what she said is, I am a moron and I don't know what I am talking about...hmmm

Still getting one anyway!
