If you are interested in this MOD, please read this entire post before you open the links so you can get the best understatement.

I have no credit to these posts and threads but I realized that it's simply a pain in the @$$ to search for and figure out how to get that custom look and change the color of the interior. So I hoped I'd make it a little simpler by compiling a list of other threads that involve this process.

Okay guys so here are all the links that I have that should help guide you through this process. Don't let this intimidate you though, it isn't "that" bad. As long as you are determined and patient with your self, you will get this done and it will look awesome! :bigthumb: Enjoy!

You will need some "PLCC - 2 Led's", they can be found at oznium as well your typical "5mm Leds". The amount depends on your year/model but typically 15 "PLCC's" is a little more than enough for the window buttons, radio, and A/C. and the "Led's" about 10 is good.
http://www.oznium.com/leds

Now of course there is no One way to change out these lights. The PLCC's are awesome little LED's, but those are only good at giving enough light for the buttons/switches. Where as the nobs on the A/C control and headlight on/off control require something that gives off a wider more distributed light. This can be achieve with the typical 5mm LED's but if you want a smoother/slightly more expensive process I would recommend what's below.

The climate control is tricky, but thanks to yhopkins she suggests to use "T5 Neo Wedge LED Bulbs" instead of 5mm leds. http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=197002 (this is where I learned this and shows the great results) These distribute the light best in there and is way easier than soldering in resitors with the led's. These don't require resistors because they run off of 12v where as the 5mm run off of around 3v. If you just put in the led by itself in there it would fizz, pop, and would not work. If you type in to ebay what's in quotes you should find some for sale. I'd get the 10 pack because it's always better to have too many than not enough. You will probably only need 5 total though, 4 for the climate control and 1 for the headlight switch.

Keep in mind that everyone has different interiors based on the model you have and also what year your charger is. This is why I posted so many links.
I suggest looking at them all first to get an understanding of it all and see which links apply to you. Also note, none of these links are for the 2nd generation chargers. But if you are courageous I bet you can use these as a starting ground to do it yourself.

Be patient and you will be very happy with your hard work!

By the way, if you guys have any questions I can try to help out as I've gone through most of this so just post a reply on here and I can hopefully help you as well as any other's who have that same question
