Yes, $6K or more is possible...I bought my wife a 2006 Durango last year and got about $14,000 off the sticker...there was a dealer incentive of ~$8K, a $3K customer rebate, dealer gave a $3K discount plus I had a coupon from Dodge for $1K off plus a $500 discount for being a farm bureau member so I ended up paying $15,500 under sticker...

MSRP if anything is a haggle starting point. You should never ever pay MSRP unless you want it enough and don't want to bother trying to haggle.

With 6K discount you should be well under $30K, invoice on fully loaded 07 Sublime Daytona was @ 36K (fully loaded: NAV, DVD and Uconnect)

I got my 07 R/T w/o R/T package, but did have sun roof, nav, and electronics convenience group, for 29. MSRP was 36.

Edmunds should have the invoice pricing right next to the MSRP cost after you've selected everything. Don't pay anything but Invoice minus rebates. The dealer should only make their money through the dealer holdback. Also to save money on your tax title and licensing, agree to sign the rebate over to the dealership and have them lower the purchase price of the vehicle. Good luck with your new purchase, and ensure that they give you the lifetime warranty, there may be some shady dealerships out there who will try to say you don't rate it because your buying an 07, that's bull. Any Chrysler bought after June 24th gets this.

I agree, I was a car salesman and they have plenty of money in the vehicle+rebates+ hidden dealer "Pack" I can give EXCELLENT negotiating skills to anyone who is interested, it works EVERY time to get what you want when you want it, including haggling down the costs of extended warranties, etc. Just ask me or send a PM. My dad is still the GM of a large dealership, I simply called him up and asked whats dealer inv. for zip...xxx, get a price. Give me an estimate. Best bet is to purchase an invoice for the vehicle you want, this is where many make mistakes.. you HAVE to make sure you invoice the EXACT options of you will be WAY off. Bust the dealer in the chops, buying a car is an ALL day event unless you got peeps in the loop. Just ask me how and ill tell you. An '08 they may not do so much negotiation, but you can clean them on an '07... I PROMISE!!

Dealer holdback IS the "pack" some use different code names, we did. You should have no problem if negotiated properly walking out with dealer ONLY making holdback. 99% of the time they will NOT dip into that regardless.
