Hello all,

How much did you guys pay for your Charger? What is invoice? I'm looking to get into a RT with fully loaded; what's a good price? Any tips on buying? I am in NorCal if that helps also with dealers around the area.

Thanks,

Just a quick note... A fully Loaded R/T with PP is going to run you right around 37K msrp...

The Daytona R/T with all options will run slightly higher.

This 37K includes every option: R&T PP, ECG II, Sunroof, SGII, GPS/NAV/6CD/MP3, Rear Seat DVD Player, SAT Radio, U-Connect, Cig Lighter.

Again thats MSRP... Someone will do the math for you...

Base R/T - 29,320.00

R&T PP (1600)
Elec Con Grp (630)
Con Grp II (955) (included w/R&T PP)
Sound Grp II (535)
Sunroof (950)
DVD/NAV (1495) - Lower Price because SGII is already in the car
Sat Radio (195)
UConnect (360)
Rear Seat Video (1150)
Smokers (30)
Protection Pkg (560)

Dest Charge (675)

Since the Con Grp II is included in the R/T PP, you can drop that 955 cost...

Totals out to: 37,500.00 MSRP

There are guys who have gotten theres for under MSRP... I am sure they will post for you.

I picked up mine on Saturday. Got it for invoice + $500 and there was a $500 rebate. So it ended up being invoice. It had every option but the engine heater..

I'll be looking for some less expensive performance gains and maybe tinting the windows a few shades. Love it!

Kicks ass!!

MSRP on my car was $33,200 -

Out the door with Tax and Gap Ins, $33k flat In FL, that made the car itself about $30k even.

I found one on ebay in NC for invoice less the holdback - my local dealer mathced that price plus $500.

My Magnesium R/T purchased in North Carolina May 18 before any cash back or and other deals. MSRP $35,145.00 I shopped around and any dealer that had one at that time were selling them with about a $1,000 to $2,000 low availability price increase. So when I paid MSRP I was more than happy. Equipped with everything except Road and Track performance pack and rear seat DVD. I love it and I am not disappointed with the price I paid it is worth more.

Daytona - all options except "protection group" & "smokers group" = $37,810 - $500 factory rebate + tax/tag/title/fees = $40,473.44 - $6000 cash down = $34473.44

They had a "Adjusted Market Value" of $1,889.95 "option" sheet next to the window sticker, however, I did not pay that and got the $500 off to boot. Personally, I was just happy to have one quickly. I was ready to pay over MSRP a couple grand and have one flatbedded in from TX or PA for $2200 transportation charges. Cost really didn't matter that much, I wanted it badly. Once I decided on the Daytona, I did not want to wait 3-9 weeks to get one. When I want, I want. :D So, I lucked out by getting on this board and catching a post from Charger Fan about the Daytona at Arrigo in WPB and they did me right.

I can pipe in since it's on the Daytona - KILLER!! Makes my '98 Trans Am look like a POS. My T/A used to dive all over the place and I redid the entire suspension - not necessary to upgrade much here. Little bit of front end dive when hard braking, but side to side roll is pretty much not even there. Rides like it is on rails when diving thru traffic not that I have been doing that at all . . . I would have to put it in one word - "tight" for the entire thing.

I've have had it for three weeks now, ordered it about a week and a half before that. When I first test drove one it was a regular R/T and the steering felt a little 'wobbly' or sensitive to me. The steering on this package elimates that and makes it drive like the CTS I had. The first few times at stoplights, I would get the wheels to spin easily on takeoff, since then It hasnt happend as much for some reason. I think I'm still getting used to it.

How is the exhaust note? You ordered it a week and a half before you got it? Was it already on the way to the dealership?

Ordered my Inferno Red Charger R/T with Power Sunroof, Electronics Convenience Group, Convenience Group II, Sound Group II, and UConnect packages.

MSRP = $33650
Invoice = $31136
Dealer Price = $30736
After rebate = $30236

I'm now two weeks into the unbearable 8-10 week wait for delivery. I should really stop reading the posts from the guys who have their cars already - it just adds to the agony!
