I put my order in on Jul 9 and still have a code D...how about you all?

I ordered mine July 5th and the estimated ship date is Aug. 15th and it takes about two weeks to take delivery

I waited about two weeks - then said fug it and tracked one down. If you don't want to wait, have Charger Fan find one for you and go get it. I got mine at MSRP and a $500 incentive discount, optioned out. Once I get his address, I'm sending him xmas cards and a gift!

the order I have a vin for was ordered July 1st, scheduled ship date is 8/16

the one I dont have a vin was ordered 6/21, and has gone from BG to BX to BG again 3 times now.... but still no C or D status (this order has protection group)

I ordered mine on 6-13, I am in D1 status and is supposed to to ship on 8-15, but who knows????

In the Detroit area, the dealers all have at least two or three of them, generally R/Ts. I found one that I liked, got it at dealer invoice and ended up out the door at a shade under MSRP. The salesperson that I worked with was great and I'm sure he'd be happy to work a deal for anyone and then you'd just have to come pick it up! That particular dealer is one of the highest volume dealers in the country; they had 12 Chargers on their lot, 8 of them R/Ts in various option trim.

I ordered mine 5/16/05 and was in BG until about a week ago. Now I've flopped back and forth between BG and BX 2 or 3 times this week. Still no VIN, still no ETA. All I have left is hope.....

Like Daytona R/T, I have the protection group on mine which has been causing the hold-up.

Like Daytona_R/T and mnunes, I orginally ordered back in June (06/14), but my first order errored and had to be cancelled. My current order was on 07/01 and I just found out yesterday (08/03) that I now have a VIN and (I think) an estimated build date of 08/08. I am suppose to have the protection package on it, but for some reason my dealer said he doesn't see it on the order now. If its not, I am going to take the Daytona anyways. More info on estimated dates and this PP mystery to come.

Update - just found out that my car is in the asssembly line gate and now have a ship date of 8/15/05 (can't seem to stop my right foot from quivering!)...5 day transit time and I'll be on the prowl later this month...can't wait! :ninja:
