I tried looking, so I apologize if this has already been asked, but I did not find anything.

I am trying to find out How to recognize a Pentastar V6. I have a 2014 Charger SE if that helps to answer the question right off the bat. After searching the web, all I have gathered is that at some point there was a 3.5 liter engine being used, and then a 3.6, I'm not sure that meant all 3.6 were Pentastar or not though. If someone could clear this up for me I would greatly appreciate it.

The 3.5L stopped being used in the Charger in 2011. You have a 2014 V6 therefore it is the 3.6L Pentastar. All 3.6L engines are the Pentastar.

Have you looked under the hood?
You should see 3.6 vvt on the cover:

Thank you both for your replies. I had thought that perhaps all engines after a certain year were Pentastar, so Thank you for confirming. Yes I did notice the vvt, but I was unsure if that meant specifically that. I'm sure I could Google it, but a discussion is always nice. What does that "vvt " mean exactly?

VVT means it has Variable Valve Timing. That means that the cam timing is changed by the computer to provide optimal power and performance at different RPM.

The engine features high-flow intake and exhaust ports, which in combination with dual independent cam phasing (timing), allows optimum volumetric and combustion efficiency over the full speed and load range. This results in an exceptional, flat torque curve along with high specific power.
