Would anyone here who has found their Charger sitting on blocks, phone books or anything else please send me an email with your address to [email protected].

If you've posted pictures or a thread online here about it, then I'd like to send you some FREE decals to apply to the inside of your rims next time you get new tires...

Why not get the info engraved on the back of the rim behind a spoke or a pillar? Engraving can be small and permament........just get a quick spray of clear over it after your done to prevent corrosion.......if you really like your rims that much. Food for thought.:beerchug:

All wheel locks do is keep the honest guy honest. If a criminal wants your property they will get it regardless of what you do to protect it short of shooting the dumb bast*rds.

Wheel locks are a good way to keep amateurs away. Alarms can help if you park the car near your bedroom window at night. I recommend having all the rims engraved in an inconspicuous place with your name and phone number. Put a fake serial number in another spot and keep a note of the number in case they spot your name and erase it. It leaves evidence that they are yours. Maybe the thief will call you up for some twisted reason and leave a phone number on your caller ID or maybe the police will trace it. Ya never know. Try installing more lighting around your house, try not to live in a big apartment complex and have nice rims. I got a cheap wireless camera with a blinking red light that streams to my computer and put it on top of my garage overlooking my driveway.

Excellent idea

Carlton here to share something.

hope it will be worked. Have anyone try this before. Who can say that in the tire the paper piece will same as when it was taped in it. I think it will be totally damaged and in poor condition. If you have some other stuff like which will be not easily damaged remained in same condition after 6 months or a year so it will be more effective. Because paper is not strong thing. Anyway you invent a great idea and may be it also works. I will try this.

Thanks bro.

Good idea but I wonder if anything would ever come of it - the tire guys in the back of the shop don't have any idea the name of the customer, that was typed in by the guy in the front of the shop, into the computer.

And then there are the thieves that are having them broken down by some buddy of theirs, and they both just have a good laugh about it :(

There's not, actually. But alot of threads not responded to for several years have probably aged out of usefulness due to people getting rid of the cars and stuff. But then, you did make a good point about tire / wheels being dismounted by the thieves buddies. Probably alot of truth to that.
