Thanks everyone for the welcome. I wasn't planning on getting a car, new at that (new enough for me), for another couple of years. But after a friend bought one in early December, I started to look a little. I used Craigslist, I really wasn't trying too hard.
Saw some Scatpacks but they didn't last long at the dealers they were at. Saw a Daytona at a used car lot and mulled it over, then I came across this one and thought about it over the Christmas weekend. Called on the 26th thinking they'd be closed, glad they were open. Ran my credit over the phone, secured the car with a small down payment and picked it up the next day. With prices of these all over the map, I figured I didn't have the time to wait like I planned. After my purchase, I looked around some more, and I feel I got the best deal possible with year, mileage and price. Only 7500 miles on it, and it is clean. Almost too clean for me! I did manage to clear out a spot in a storage unit I have, it's now keeping three old Mopars company until the weather comes around. Can't wait to get out and out some miles on the car. Two days later, another friend bought a Challenger Scatpack, so we have our old and new cars to meet up with and hang out. I see some weekend trips to Illinois happening this year, gonna be a fun one!
