Any documentation on how that's done? I'm assuming it's more cost effective than new wheels.
when I did my chrome clads, I used electrical tape to mask the outer rim, since it will work around the curves. then I used masking tape to mask the face of the wheels after popping out the center cap (wheels were removed from the car). mask all the wheels at once, but spray one at a time. spray on the plasti-dip in coats, waiting 5-10 minutes or so between coats to avoid runs. After you're happy with the coverage, while the last coat is still wet, start peeling off the tape. make sure when you peel the tape back, make sure you peel it back a low angle (pull it parallel to the surface, not straight up), so you don't take the plasti-dip with it.
what might look good would be to use the plasti-dip smoke for more of a charcoal grey color, or the actual charcoal or anthracite plasti-dips.
if you're looking at wheels, over on LX forums, shortly after the '11's came out, there was a dude who had a toxic AWD that he had put the anthracite center boss 338 wheels on it, and it looked NICE

boss wheels are made in the USA, not China, BTW....I belive he had the 20x8.5's with 28mm offset on his AWD....
