Finally got it in and had the time to install. Wow... was not expecting this intense a project.
The spoiler came with 3 holes, none of which aligned with the factory 4.

Removed the interior of the trunk
Removed side panels
Popped internal brackets/screws
Goo Gone/fishing line to get the 3m tape broken
Removed all 3 pieces of OEM spoiler
Soaked all tape/adhesive in Goo Gone
“Beer break”
Scraped, soaked, scraped, repeat
“Beer break”
Buffed trunk and side panels with polisher
Trip to Lowe’s for more plugs
Paint plugs
“Beer break”
Install plugs with silicone (Painted Mopar Graphite)
Align spoiler with supplied hole layout tools (this took about 20 minutes)
Carefully drilled holes in trunk
Realized I couldn’t access new holes behind inner trunk frame
Using 1/2” drill bit, bore 3 holes in trunk frame, then pry/bend/widen to make an opening large enough to get screwdriver in
Widen drilled holes to get spoiler aligned and screws in
3m tape/weatherstrip spoiler
Fasten down all 3 screws while holding trunk lid 50% open and spoiler in place

all in all, 6+ hour project (also did the “Charger” decal on taillight and removed dodge emblem). Cussed, sunburned, metal shavings everywhere but it’s rock solid. Was worth it to me to do it myself and not pay a body shop.

Any pics with the plugs installed only?
Curious to see what they look like.

Awesome job, btw!
here you go, just now took these. Sorry I didn’t get any of the trunk before the install.

No joke, they are not even there when the trunk is down. Used the wide flat head plugs from Lowe’s for a GM vehicle. Sprayed them with Mopar paint

Where did you find this Mopar Spray paint?
As far as I know, they only had those touch up paint pens!

That paint is an excellent match, and the plugs are well hidden by the spoiler, Great Job--did you take a pic of the mangling you had to don on the inner side of the trunk lid? (I had to do a bit of "mangling" myself with a 1" hole saw and channel lock pliers.)

Those plugs would bother me to no end......
Sorry man, I'm sure it was worth your time & all, if you happy with it.
Hope those holes don't rust out on you.

the plugs are completely unnoticeable unless you pop the trunk and go looking for them. The 2 holes I had to make on the inside, I was a bit worried about them but I hit them with a rust inhibitor and I will be spraying them with paint this week. Just ran out of time. Every hole I plugged or drilled got a rust inhibitor and silicone.

I love the HC spoiler. Makes the cars look so much meaner. Wish someone would make an aftermarket one for the 11-14 to fit the body lines instead of curved.
