Don't take your hood off. It will slow you down some...not a lot.

It's a safety thing. It's one more layer between you and flying metal parts in case something happens to go sideways in a colossal manner.

It also looks like you're trying to hard riding around with the hood off.

 

Why do you want to remove the hood?
