You would have to cut a 1/2 circle at the bottom of you square cut out to make it work..has been done a few times (see pics)Ugh. Not what I was hoping for but thank you for the answer.
I swear some of the newer OEM cold airbox have the hole already, like a Redeye lower airboxView attachment 295086
The Hellcat snorkel is round on the side that fits into the air box (see the end with the tabs on the right).
Based on that alone it won't mate up without you fabricating something. Would probably be easier to just swap the entire hellcat upper/lower box at the same time and sell off your OEM "cold air intake"
Yeah my 2019 R/T has a hole in front of the stock airbox but I don't think it mates up directly to a hellcat snorkel plus the box design isn't same on upper or lower lid as the Hellcat style:I swear some of the newer OEM cold airbox have the hole already, like a Redeye lower airbox
10-4 the problem the OP has/had is that he has the open top Mopar "cold air" intake found on the Daytonas and his lower box has a squared off opening in front that won't directly take the round snorkel without some fabrication or just replacing the upper and lower together and ditching the blue Mopar filter. The Hellcat lower air box will fit with any of the stock tops (2015 up -- not sure about 2011-2014) I have the top of my 2016 V6 box sitting on mine, fit perfectly
