I just realized that the heads I am having opened up for new valves might be off a truck hemi.....I was told that they will not have an EGR provision, not a big deal.

But here is the kicker...I was told that the holes for the power steering pump may not be in the head....

Anyone know if that's true or not? Im trying to head off a potential big snag!

IDK, the only difference I can find by searching is the EGR difference. Several cross-application manuals list them as being compatible with the only issue being the EGR. I would think if the PS mounting holes were also an issue, it would have been listed too.

That's kind of what I thought. But over on LX forms they say this could be an issue...I will just have to call Stu and make sure the holes are there and if not have a machinist drill and tap them

Only 03 truck hemi heads don't have EGR, 04+ do.

The second set of heads I got are from an 06 Ram. The EGR is definitely there. PS pump holes. Not so much.
