They'll physically fit but the port shape will be different. The exhaust ports changed to a D shape in 09 where the pre-09s have a square shape. It'll work but you won't get optimal flow with them.

Is there a reason it changed?

Cylinder head redesign with the eagle engine. Eagle heads are more similar to 6.1 heads, bigger redesigned ports, closed chambers and bigger valves. Part of the reason they got more power with the same displacment. If you find a set they're a good upgrade, just keep in mind they smaller combustion chamber if retrofitting to a pre 09 block.

Will it hurt anything? I found some that are in a good price range. I am trying to get headers but don't want to spend 1k or so on them

Like supertrooper said, you won't get optimal flow due to the port mismatch. Better off getting the right ones to begin with.
