I was wondering if anyone has instaling a half engine cover on a 5.7L Hemi. pretty much like the one in the link except I'd like for it to say 5.7L Hemi rather than 345 Hemi. For some wierd reason I can't seem to find them being sold except for that link and is it just a direct plug and play or is there any hidden things I need to know before I get my hands dirty and buy one.

I believe those from Steve White Motors are the most popular ones, and those are just adapted from the SRT half covers. There's some trimming that needs to be done with a dremel before it fits our 5.7s. Send them a message and I'm sure they'll give you details.

IMO, $200 is way too rich for a couple pieces of plastic...I'd let the engine go naked before getting these. But to each their own.

Has anyone gone a little crazy and gotten these for their 5.7. I'm seriously leaning toward it, but I'd like a few more details on how much trimming is needed.
