Here we go folks! A team has been assembled to start contacting this year's event supporters requesting their support for next year's event.

Our goal next year is to raise $5k on the day of the event, surpassing the $4770 raised! ! I think it can be done. If you are on Facebook and haven't liked the
GTALx - The Event
page, do it to be kept updated as we announce event updates. Events will be posted here in this thread as well for those that don't have a FB account.

That's all for now. Have a great day!

Greetings everyone. These are indeed strange days due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. The province of Ontario is under a state of emergency (public community places such as pools, libraries, community centres ordered closed) along with restaurants and other places where people can gather. Nationally, restrictions are in place or will be in place to limit travel via air, and on the ground at the US/Canada border. We, who are planning the June 6 event, want you to know that as of right now, the June 6 GTALx event is still a go but that may change in the future depending on how things progress. I'll be honest. If I were to hazard a guess, my guess would be that the event will be postponed until later in the summer but as of now, the event is still a go. Until the next announcement, please be safe, be courteous to others in these trying times, and please don't hoard supplies that others who are vulnerable may require.
We will get through this but we'll have to do it together and with patience, kindness and some common sense.
Bryan.
