I used small Eye screws (found in picture hanging packs) Don't screw them all the way in, buts there is plenty to grab the badge... I went the extra step and use a small dab of super gule to make sure they don't back out. As you can see you can't see them at all. Then I used thin wire and wired it to the grille! TA DA! :happy: Works and looks GREAT!!!

i just ordered the rt badge for the grill. i dont have the honeycomb grill on my rt silver steel. its the slotted type grill. will the eyebolt thing work just as well. im hopin, i ordered the big red with chrome around as found on the daytonas. any help would be great thanks guys

If it is an original it comes with two bolt mounts on the back. I got 2 2" bolts and some big washers. You can use the washers as a back plate against the slats on the grill and it will hold the R/T on perfectly. I put a drop of thread lock on as well to avoid vibrations loosening things up. I have had mine on for a month and it works fine

My brother put the chrome RT on his grille...ordered thru our Dodge dealer. I like the red but the chrome looks good and is not so common.

Just noticed you wanted other than the rear deck...this will stick well to the grille...have not seen a chrome rt specifically for the front.

How tha blazes did you get to the back of the grill to tighten the nuts on the posts? I removed the trim under the hood but there's no way on earth to get a hand down in there to actually do anything, let alone get a hand back. I tried popping the push pins along around the hood release but that just loosened the front facia. And I'm not about to remove the blessed entire front facia to do this.

Everyone says it's so easy to add these. Well i've had zero luck figuring it out. I'm pretty much ready to return it and just get the plastic ones that clip in. Except they are like $40 each instead of 15-20 for the metal ones with the posts that slot through the grill.

Rather discouraged here.
