P2112 - electronic throttle control - unable to open

condition needed to set this code:
just after key on, the throttle is opened and closed to test the system. if the throttle position sensor does not return to "limp home position" at the end of this test, this DTC will set. one trip fault and the code will set within 5 seconds. ETC light will flash.
just tell service guy what you were doing when MIL came on. MIL is on, right? also tell him about any aftermarket accessories installed.

Did you actually have an incident where you lost throttle response or did you just get this code popping up? If the former, I would definitely get it in to be looked at. If the latter, I think I'd just keep an eye on things to see if it reoccurs or not.

That's just what I would do; if it worries you, definitely take it in.
