For those of you experiencing sounds similar to this:

This was what my service advisor informed me about:
SUBJECT: TECH-TIPS # 14-004 – ALL VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A 3.6L ENGINE / HOWL AND/OR /WHINE TYPE NOISE FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IN COLD AMBIENT TEMPERATURES
"Customer may complain of very loud howl or whine type noise when the engine is started after an overnight cold soak. This noise is typically heard with ambient temperatures of -1°C (30° F) and lower. The colder the ambient temperature, the longer the noise will last. (Anywhere between 5 to 30 seconds)
The noise is not detrimental to the life of the engine. The issue is with the FEAD (front end accessory drive) tensioner and/or idler pulley bearings. Engineering is aware and investigating the issue, no repair attempts should be made until further notice."
I suppose it is related to this thread: http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=198889&highlight=whistle
