I'm a noob and i was wondering what the difference between Pin-on and bolt-on. Just a wild guess but the pin on would require installation of Hood Pins? Please clarify for me!

The difference is this.

Pin on hoods are designed strictly for racing applications.
There are no provisions for the rear hinges or front latch.
Instead, this type of hood is held to the car using dzus fasteners - which are small screw type pins with backing plates. We recommend using about 10 of these pins along the entire parimeter of the hood to ensure a snug fit.
This would be a completely removable hood.

The bolt on hoods we make are designed for both street and strip.
These have provisions for the rear hinges and front latch.
And work like a factory replacement.

BTW I just ordered a carbon fiber version of the Chally hood for the Charger from these guys!! Less than 10 lbs!!!!!
