i believe the factory tire size on my r/t is a 225/60-18, i was wondering how much wider of a tire i could run, i was thinking a 245/45-18 or a 245/40-18, any ideas or suggestions

I (was) running 255/55/R18's.

Very slight rub on full lock on reverse - other than that (and a very slightly under-reading speedo) they are good. :)

And, if you go to Discounttire.com, they will list the Option upgrades.

245/55 would be the right size, 245/45 would be way shorter than stock and your speedo would be off.

Well, let's see...I'm running the same size as Arfur...but you could go with 255/50s, but choice is limited to Toyo, Pirelli, and a Yokohama i believe. OR you could go with a 245/50...with a bit more variety, but is slightly shorter although it stays within spec. You could also go with a 235/55 size that came on the Daytonas (2006s)...but you'll find mostly touring tires in that size, or all seasons. I'm running the Goodyear F1 GS-D3s.
