Hey guys!!!

I have an 06 dodge Charger Daytona, 5.7L HEMI. Maybe its all up in my and I'm just noticing this now, but I have had this car for the past 2 yrs, and recently, I've noticed that when I approach 40MPH it feels as if the tranny has shifted twice and now, especially when i have the cruise control there is a slight fluctuation in the trans, as if its either deciding to shift up or down depending on the speed. Or, is this the overdrive gear? Now, I can barely feel this erratic shifting/fluctuation, so i don;t know if its normal. No check engine light has ever came on, but I did have the automatic transmission adapter changed out about a month ago because the O ring was leaking just a little bit of oil. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!

I would say the slight shift your experiencing is the MDS kicking on or off depending on the driving conditions. Could be wrong but I'm sure a more seasoned person could either confirm this or provide another explanation.

I think what your feeling is the torque converter going into lockup mode.Most Chrysler transmission Converters lockup between 40-45 MPH!
