2008 Dodge Charger 3.5L V6 SXT Model, RWD

To begin with today we replaced the spark plugs on my charger. My car had no issues what-so-ever.

During install we did not unplug the negative on the battery before unplugging the throttle body.

The spark plugs were pre gapped.

To continue we then go to turn on the car and it makes a horrible idling sound, engine shakes, then after 10 seconds you hear a popping sound... no pleasant

Yes we checked all the wiring and everything. Nothing dumb.

We then pull the codes: P0123, and P0113

When you rev then engine, it then stops that popping sound, and then makes that bad sound again when its on the idle mode.

So we then tried the manual resets for the throttle body and still nothing works.

So, what should I do? how much does it cost to re initialize the throttle body?

plugs

Pre gapped? you should always check the gap yourself . they could get bumped in the box and be off their gap .
