To my understanding, when the engine dies at low RPM on hills it can be attributed to the fuel filter. But since the '06 Charger doesn't have one, my next guess would be to address the fuel pump.

It is under the back seat, pull the seats and there is an access panel in the tank to pull the pump.

Is there anything I'm overlooking that might cause the same symptoms?

If you just filled your tank with fuel you have the dreaded stuck rollover valve in the gas tank issue. That was just a stab.
