Got my Modern Muscle 85mm throttle body yesterday. Installation was a snap, take CAI off, then four bolts and 1 plug. Took it out for a test drive up the H3, but it was dumping rain up there yesterday evening. There is however, noticable throttle response improvement. Not sure how that will affect the dyno HP wise, but it does feel different. I called RAD Motorsport, they are booked up this weekend for dyno runs. I have an appointment to get mine done tomorrow at 3 p.m. if anyone is interested.

Alright, pending that I get my parts in the next day or too, I need to get my car dynoed for my CMR custon tune. You guys know where I can find one? :beerchug:

Will do, I am very excited actually. This will unfortunetly be my base line since I didn't get one done stock. Then I send off the data to HHP to get a CMR tune done for it. Do you think the CMR tune will have any gains? Or would a run after be a waste of money?

Not sure. I'm working special duty (side-jobs, traffic control) here and there to squirrel away the money for it. I guess it depends on how many jobs I get. When I do make the swap I'll have a full Flowmaster cat-back up for grabs for pretty cheap. those are some decent numbers. I was pretty close with my guess. throw on some longtubes and go catless and you'll definitely be over 400rwhp. but who knows, you may get there with just the cmr.
oh, I hope you cleaned your air filter before you did it.....it might have robbed you of a few extra hp if it was dirty.

I was going to, but I didn't have a cleaning kit for my aFe. I only have about 9k miles on that filter anyway so hopefully it didn't rob me too much. As far as the headers and cats (or no cats) go, I went right over and talked to Roland at ESH since it was right there. I may have to go Kooks as soon as my mod account fills back up!

Very cool! Nice numbers. I'm definitely going to dyno mine after I get the headers/exhaust installed.
It was a cool experience all the way around. I took a buddy of mine who has never seen a dyno run, he thought it was the coolest thing ever. I have a video of the 3rd pull on my BlackBerry but I don't know how to pull it off or send it anywhere. I would like to post it, but it's really not anything special other than a lot of loud noise.
