I dropped a few 10s in the trunk and used a signal converter. On cd it sound SWEET. on fm the bass makes the fronts fuzzy when it hits. Why?

do you have the bass level up higher now than before?

actully no I use to keep it at 3. I have it to 0 now. Odder thing is that I have a bass control for the amp. With it turned up the static is louder then I turn it down and its gone. Could it just be wired backwards? As soon as I get my car back im going to try. Cant belive had the car 3 weeks in shop 2x already.
