This is happening on my Chysler 300SGlad I found this site...I have this issue on my 2015 Charger ? A class action lawsuit is in order for sure!

I live in Fl and this started happening to my 2015 Chrysler 300S. I've hit 53k miles so the bumper to bumper is out of warranty, BUT I have asked Class Action Lawsuits to see if they can start a class action for those of you who are getting denied the repairs due to being out of warranty. My dealership knows me and I told them that if they did not repair my vehicle, I'd write reviews on Google, Yelp, their website, and any other website until my situation was resolved. I don't understand how Chrysler/Dodge would even think about turning a customer away for this type of issue. Do they assume we're bored and have started to just peel away our door panels because we have nothing better to do than to sit in the 100 degree heat and destroy our cars? I've attached this link on the class action form I filled out also. Good luck to all!! Don't take no for an answer, regardless of warranty! I've learned that when kindness doesn't get you what your owed, then bad reviews seem to be the next best thing, especially for major dealerships.

yes i have a 2013 r/t max dodge charger. At 22000 miles i had that problem on drivers side and passenger side. It was still under warranty and they fixed it replacing them with new panels, which indicated they accepting they had a problem. Now at 62000 miles out of warranty i find they did not fix my problem becuse its doing it again. Get hold of Chrysler corp. 800-992-1997. tell them they have a problem with their design with the door panels and get a case number. I'm going to the dodge dealership and having them diagnose the problem in writing and enter it in their system. Then get back to Chrysler and have them complete the investigation.

Gents,
Just got a call from my SRT rep via Chrysler Care. The biggest issue is that they discontinued a lot of the parts that we are needing...door panels, center console panels, etc. It seems they were able to "locate" everything for me besides the passenger door panel, which of course is the worst of the bunch. I don't even know what to do anymore. So frustrating...

Even though I purchased extended warranty on this vehicle it is not covered...I would like to gather a class action lawsuit for this.... not to mention I won't by another Chrysler product. Car is a 2015 34000 miles (weekend car)no way this should be happening

Mine is a 2014 (29k miles)...and Chrysler is covering it...100%. I don't understand how this being a known issue has answers all over the place in regards to assistance. Insane.

Did you call Fiat Chrysler?
I did initially, but they have me working with SRT US Customer Care now. Here's the number I use...1-855-778-8326

2016 Chrysler 300s AWD 52,000 miles. Passenger side door starting to warp where panel meets window, all doors have visible indications they could do the same. Add me to that law suit! $40k of hard earned money unacceptable quality control.

Just a quick update on this panel issue. I love how they act as if they never heard of this issue. I also have been denied assistance on this issue. Yelp website pages and who ever else will hear about this

The other thing I would think about is writing a consumer complaint via your home state attorney general's page. If you search on there (mine is Ohio), you'll be surprised how many complaints are logged and sent it about various things just by looking up "Chrysler."

Might as well fix it yourself. What do you think is going to happen with new panels eventually?

Fix it yourself. Even if FCA replaced the panels, they will eventually fail again.

Fix it yourself. I know you shouldn’t have to do that but new panels will eventually fail.

Im not sure how to fix without replacing. Which like you said will just tear up again. From what i can tell there isnt really a place to glue down. Anyone have any self repair ideas?

The problem is there is a thin layer (3/16") of foam under the heavy vinyl that expands a lot with high heat. I had to redo my previous repair after the car sat out in the 100F heat all day last Thursday: the foam swelled up and popped my Gorilla Glue loose. I took an Exacto knife and removed 1/2" wide by 5" long strip of the foam from the top edge of the panel then glued the heavy vinyl back down. Seems to be holding up fine.

You can do that or go through the hassle of having the entire $650 door panel replaced.
2016 RT out of the warranty, dealer is a no way will not help situation. Mine was pretty bad and I am in Oregon not to hot here. I removed the foam all along the whole door about 1/2" and used super glue gel on that top plastic edge under the vinyl and then held it in place with custom cut up paint sticks. Super glue will not be affected by heat like Gorilla glue, or most epoxy based glues that like to break loose in hot conditions.
