I am in a pickle, (no comments now!)... I would love to see what my Charger friends think...Here's the dilemma

I want to know whether the awesome 2006 Charger SXT (my 1finecharger) or the 1970 Monte carlo gets the one car garage....have fun! I am interested to see if this can alleviate my guilt ridden thoughts of throwing the Chevy out on its ear :) j/k Chevy Hubby!!

Details are limited but Chevy Hubby and I are in the process of moving so installing a second garage would be nice but on our property we don't have the room nor would it be feasible financially- alas we are arguing over the spot...can you guys imagine that?? Your wife fighting you for a spot in the garage to house her Charger?? haha LMAO I told him i would buy him a bigger engine (casino trip would have to pay for that-if I won :) if he would let me have the garage!!! Didn't work surprisingly...

Well as much as I hate to say it, have to go with the classic car on this one. The 70 Ch...ch....ch...I cant even type the word!! The Monte is one of my more favorite cars of years passed. This was a VERY difficult vote, if the Monte was more than primer it would have won hands down but it just barely edged out 1finecharger.

I know, I know, im off the Christmas card list.

I knew this was going to get me in trouble, I'll probably be the only backing the poor guy up. I will accept my persecution and punishment, was not the intent to betray the charger, just trying to be logical.

Tom

Send me the bowtie, I'll re-gift it to HemiChemi

 You didn't know?? Don't worry I will make sure the bowtie jacket is draped on your Charger seat at the next M&G hehe j/k BTW when's your birthday???

Hehe, the moment I saw it was you trying to type Chevy I had to giggle...and yes, you're in trouble!

At least one of us is logical....I have a feeling the Chebby is going to win(No brainer here)...all in fun!!

here's the fun of it...The raindrops fell last night as my car was in the garage tucked in with its blankets :) i was up at 4 (yes guys, I was worried what the mighty rain would do to his car) and this morning while I watched Video Kid off to school I am scrambling around, moved my car out and in went the classic Monte, oh bow down to the monte....I kept saying, "my Charger can withstand the rain, his Monte can't"...have a laugh on me, now I can't put my car in the damn garage without the little nagging thoughts of guilt coursing through my brain....God help me!

as long as the winner is the Charger right? women. talk about swaying a vote!!
Now did I say anything about May the Best Charger win??? No!! Silly...I will wait until AFTER the voting ends to say it... hehe...seriously I am up for it, I can take a bit of Chevy love here and don't worry I grew up around classic, (Mopar that is) so...just curious what the mainstream Charger forum NEnglanders thought-and taking any suggestions....to alleviate the pressure off both the Chevy Hub and the Charger lunatic woman...... God help him, right??? Poor man, didn't know what he was getting into marrying a Mopar lady!! :)

Well after seeing the pics, I would have to got with the monte!! Only becuase the charger is a v6. Not saying there is anything with having a v6, and I am not knocking v6 guys, but I would rather have that classic over an sxt. Please no flaming, I had a v6 charger before I got my R/T. so I am not being a jerk, I am just letting you know what I would do.

The 70 Monty is nice but with only primer I think you would be better served to protect the Changer.

OK I have mixed reactions. I have seen Monte's on sale from anywhere to 2500 dollars to 15000. So its about the investment. Chevy is in primer... so I would tend to want to garage that if it was me. I would also be getting a good car cover for the vehicle that is left outside. It isnt as good but protects the finish of the vehicle. Good luck I am staying in the middle of the road....

Ok, my turn. At the risk of being pelted with rocks, I have to go with the Monte. (Tom, I didn't even try to spell ch ch ch..... See?)That is one of my fav years and I am an old school guy, mainly Mopar/AMC. Brandey, get a portable garage and a cover. That should get you through the winter. Peace\/
