Make sure it does not tick. Get service records if at all possible. I was able to talk to the Sheriff from the county my 2014 came from. Check the idle hours, not just miles. See if the rear doors have been made civilian friendly again. Know that the rear doors dont unlock when you open the door to get out, just the fronts do. The button on the trunk lid is non-functional. Check the wiring as much as possible to see if it was a hack removal (wires just hanging cut off).
Thats all i can think of right now 😴
I recently got a 2013 Charger Pursuit with the 5.7 and it's great so far. I'll have to look again to see what the engine hours were at, but I remember doing a calculation I found online and it equated to about 300k miles haha The kicker with mine was that it had 139k miles upon purchase and around 138k miles it had the cam, valves, pushrods and lifters serviced due to a misfire. Mine had significant service records which was a big plus. Also all of the holes from lights and such were body-filled and repainted, which was a big plus for me. No offense to any of you that still have those search lights, but I absolutely did not want that on mine lol I haven't checked yet exactly what was done for the trunk button, but at least the fob and the button on the dash by the wheel still works.
If anyone has other tips specifically for Pursuit models, I'm all ears. I'm new to Mopar in general so anything you've got will be helpful!
Oh I also had the exhaust redone. Removed the mid mufflers and the huge rear resonators and had Jones Flow Packs put in the mid position.
