Got the 2017 charger in April now the screen is outta control can’t listen to the radio nothing. Dodge dealership says it out of warranty due to miles an it’s gonna cost $1,500 to replace don’t feel like taking it to the car lot I got it from its 2 hours away an don’t want them keeping my car overnight to look at it don’t wanna be rude but I jus got this car! Need help!

Yes, I was under 3/36 so it was covered. Are you out of warranty?

I think so. I'm beyond the 36k. My issue isn't bad I've seen in others vehicles. It seems to progress and get worse.

Oh yes, it’s going to get worse. There was a post earlier today where an owner was three months out of warranty and his dealership wouldn’t cover it.

Did you get it taken care of? I have the same issue.
No I didn’t an the place I got it from talking bout some that might not be covered under their warranty I’m waiting on them to call me back when they have a Loaner vehicle in so they can take a look at it an see what’s wrong with it and to see if it’s covered or not. All around bullshit man!

You are very welcome. I too have been plagued with the delamination issue as well as the Nav being 220 miles off, clock off and many other concerns.

The response from @DodgeCares and Matt from uConnect have been timely and very helpful with my concerns.

What did they end up doing for you?
Replace it for free?
First visit in April 2021 dealer refused to accept it as a warranty item due to the MF warranty running out in March 2021. Even though my extended warranty thru that dealer runs through March 2025. They said it is not a radio function failing so it is not covered.

Talked to DodgeCares... set up another appointment for last week after coordinating with Matt from uConnect. Dealer states on the work order that the radio needs replacement. Matt called yesterday to tell me he has the info needed to replace under warranty and will get back to me on the next step required.

What do you mean “extended warranty thru that dealer”? Why is it only good for that dealership? Is it not through FCA?

If it’s an extended warranty through FCA, it’s good at any dealership. Screw the dealership you purchased it through. Time to find another dealership.

I am currently experiencing this screen issue in my 2017 Dodge Charger R/T. I can't even listen to music without it changing songs and sometimes media sources on its own. My USB ports stopped working also. Does anyone know of a solution to either of these issues?

Replacing the radio is the only solution.
