Can anyone explain to me how the adaptive suspension actually works?

It's basically all in the shocks and they have adjustable valving controlled by the computer. In the default street mode the shock valving is set to soft but the computer is monitoring the ride and can firm up the shocks as needed to maintain a proper ride. In sport and track modes believe they just get stiffer and stay that way. Very noticeable difference in all three modes and in street it rides smoother than the Scat Pack without it.

Dang it. I would love to have that. Can it be bought after the fact?

There was one guy that made it work but I don't remember where I saw it.

It will be quite involved and not cheap, would probably have to look for good used shocks as new they are over $700 ea.

Also have to get the wiring harnesses and then add the adaptive suspension option to the car and get it to show up on the Uconnect so you can control it. Mechanically the installation shouldn't be bad but I wouldn't even know where to begin with the electronics.
