Hey guys, new to the website and filled with ignorance and confusion. I was thinking ordering a Daytona but I heard they are moving fast, so my B Plan (not to be confused with Plan B) was to order the steel R/T with the Performance Group. If you guys had to decide between the two which way would you go and why (other than the Daytona has the cooler seats). Opinions?

I decided to go with the Daytona because it's limited production and may be a collector's item some day. Not to mention, I like the color!!!

I went with the R&T package cause I didn't like the yellow inside (dash + stitching).. plus I speed already and I didn't need the car to read Daytona on the side. Kinda like a big sign that says pull me over :happy:

I say it comes down to just the looks.. If you like the Daytona color and black wing then daytona it is.. otherwise stay with a color you like and the Performance package.

Well said... and my feelings as well. Althought a R/T with the Road and Track Pkg is essentially the same as a Daytona mechanically, the Daytona has that extra KEWL factor.

As for the seats...
It's my understanding that the Performance Package does include the same seats as the Daytona, they just don't have Daytona stitched on the head rests, or the orange stitching on the seams. :happy:
