Hey guys, I was sitting here watching US Speedo video on them installing their custom Speedometer overlay and got the idea to make a custom one myself. Has anyone made their own overlay and what are the specs? What is recommended to print on?
This will be done in my '07 Charger, going through and converting everything to a black and red theme.

i considered working for this small company in town that does gauge overlays.

http://www.whitegauges.net/

(didn't switch jobs because they offered no benefits.)
you might poke around on their website and see what they have.

they don't cost much to buy... i would just buy one rather than try to make it.

the material is a translucent plastic.. you need to have your dash lights and digits shine thru. to make them you have to have a template from the original gauge, and it has to be 'exact' when printed or things won't line up.

I remember seeing a post on here some time ago about someone customizing their own dash. Using the existing face but putting blue or red translucent film behind so the backlighting would change colors. You can try searching for it if that's all you want to do.

What's wrong with the red US Speedo kit?
