If i was to install a new HU and 6.5 inch component speakers I have. I know I would need to get a new amp for them to sound good. What else do I have to purchase or will this work fine? I have the boston acoustic system but I have some nice JL speakers and a alpine HU. also will the 6.5 speakers fit?

the 6.5 will fit in the front doors with mounting adapter plates ($10) since you are replacing the stock amp you don't need to worry about the PAC adapter. you should be good to go.
