Hey guys, I’ve been having continuing issues with my cooling system. So far I’ve swapped a 6.1 radiator with a 6.1 thermostat (203 degrees I think). Now my coolant is constantly boiling in the reservoir tank.
Edit: it was the radiator cap but now the car is overheating, this is insanity.

Sounds like a potential head gasket issue...?

Wait, so now the boiling no longer occurs?
What are your coolant levels like?
Any milky discolouration?
Do you fans come work?
Any codes?
Is your thermostat functioning properly (what brand is it? known to fail open or fail close?)

Sorry man it’s just amateur hour at my house. I put in an autozone thermostat but I forgot to bleed it. The radiator cap didn’t hold pressure so when I put the new cap on it just overheated right away. I bled the cooling system and now it works great. I beat on the car with max A/C and the needle hardly moved. I really outa start reading instructions.
