I currently have the stock sedan version of the 2009 Dodge Charger. I am trying to replace the engine with the 5.7 or 6.1 depending on price. Now before you say that it will be cheaper to just buy a whole new car, Dont. I understand that it will be easier and possibly cheaper but that is not what I want to do so I don't want to hear it.
Now from what I know to make sure the new and bigger engine fits and runs like its suppose to run I will need
The engine/motor(duh)
Bigger/better Cooling system
Motor Mount (to make the engine fit)
New exaust( I think. Not sure about this)
New transmission
New psi fuel pump
All the wiring and little things I will just find in junkyard Challengers/chargers/chrysler 300s.
Now I'm attempting do do this this with me and a buddy of mine. We have the tools necessary to do this.
I just need feedback on what I'm missing or what I can keep or what else I would have to replace. Or any tips really.
